Growing up in a Californian household where rarely making ends meet was normal and a mother who loathed any kind of criminal activity thanks to Posy’s art thief father, Posy Lightfoot spent her life torn between making an honest living and making a quick buck.
Following the death of her mother, she decides to quit her job at a swanky hotel and to head to New York in search of her father and a new beginning. On her last day of work, she finds herself flirting with a client of the hotel staying in the penthouse suite and spending two of the most incredible days of her life holed up in his room. When he leaves in the morning of the third day, so does she, heading for a new life far away from her past.
