The Israelite View of Nature

This treatise delves into the topic of nature from the ancient Israelite perspective; both the majority voice and the minority voice of the Old Testament are investigated to gain a holistic perspective. Are we the "masters" of nature? If so what does that mean? How should that understanding inform our actions? Those of you not aware that there are TWO creation narratives in the first couple of chapters in Genesis will be particularly interested in finding out what God is trying to tell us using all aspects of the biblical narrative.
