Informative

I am very glad someone made a book on this because speaking up at work is not as easy as everyone thinks it is. So far i have really been enjoying the narrators tone and pitch. When it comes to the content it has been very detail and actually kind of of fun in a way. My favorite section so far was the small talk and beyond section. Lets be honest when it come to people at work. I really don't like the people i work with and maybe its because i have been working there for 20 years but i really don't want to talk with them anymore. This section helped me limit my talking by not really getting into deep conversations.

Excellent guidebook for all introverts

This is an excellent book with some very helpful suggestions. As an introvert with an extra-extrovert mother I have often felt like second-class. However the author did a great job in pointing out that being an introvert gives you superpowers that can be quite an advantage in dealing with others. She gave excellent examples in various situations in order to use your superpowers. I highly recommend for business interactions as well as everyday encounters as an introvert.

This is an excellent book if you are an introvert and work in the business world. It is even helpful to introverts in everyday life.

Practical advice!

I loved this audiobook edition. The narrator was easy to listen to but not dull!
The content was so practical and helpful for everyone who struggles with communication in the business world. You don’t have to be an introvert to learn from the great advice and build skill during the thoughtful activities. I’ll return to this book for advice and recommend it to others.

Practical and Worthwhile

The IGSBC is an excellent resource for those seeking to be impactful in business settings. Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, there are valuable insights that are good for enhancing listening skills and engagement. The book is well researched with some of the most relevant and recent research on the relevant topics. IGSBC is also incredibly practical. If you take the suggestions seriously, the tips may go a long way toward helping one become a better communicator.

I wasn't personally a huge fan of the reader, but that may be an unfair critique. Something about him felt very extroverted, and it felt an odd match for the content at times. That being said, he was enthusiastic and good at articulation.

If you haven't read a lot of this type of book, let me assure you this is one of the better choices. For your time investment, this book is more than worth it. It can help extroverts with understanding and introverts with confidence.

I found this book to be very impactful. I always thought that I wouldn’t be able to have success in business because I’m a little shy. This book gave me the advice needed to overcome my personality.

A treatise even an extrovert can comprehend

I’m one of the most extroverted people I know. Historically, I don’t understand introverted people. And my daughter is one of them.
This book helped me understand where she is coming from and recognize the benefits of her giftedness as an introvert.
