Love it

The storyline was great the narrtion was outstanding ilove everything about this book I really like people to come to their own conclusions cause people are sometimes funny about to much sex or to many bad word's but if you have read Ms Marni Mann books you know her writing style I'm 62 I've followed her $or a while I love 💘 it !!! It's my way to escape i love all her books can't wait for last one in the series you go Marni I wish I could give it 10 stars ! it entertainers 🤣 us !!!!!!

Disjointed narration of Declan

I love Marni Mann’s books…this one was good but I felt like Savannah’s voice of Declan did not really match Declan’s voice in terms of characterization. It dragged me to the end simply because I wanted to finish it. I felt it could be more complex but it was same old same old ….lots of sex and not so much of the story. I do love Lee Samuels ‘s voice as Declan.

Great story

Would definitely recommend this book, the characters were well thought out. I like the dominance of Dominic.

OUTSTANDING storyline and narration!! Lawyers and hot steamy romance!

Love, love, LOVE everything about this book!!! This storyline was so incredibly addicting that I couldn’t get enough of Hannah and Declan! We met Hannah in “The Single Dad” where I fell in love with her. Declan also made appearances in the series as the Dalton brothers’ really good friend! These two characters together were complete fire the whole storyline! Their enemies to lovers and forced proximity combined made for such an explosive romance that was so so entertaining!

It all starts when Declan is in Hannah’s college class as a mentor during a mock trial. He’s immediately drawn to her and her talent in the trial. She knows who he is as a top litigator but she leaves out her last name because she knows he is friends with her cousins, the Dalton brothers. Things heat up and get hot and heavy in the alley before Declan ditches her. Fast forward and she finds out that he is her new boss. Not only did he start working at her aunt and uncle’s law firm, but she was assigned as his intern! The tension starts really quick and the storyline is just complete fire from there! My first time reading a romance with the lawyer career so prominent in the story but now every single one will be compared to this one because I don’t think it can be topped!!

Marni Mann couldn’t have chosen more perfect narrators for the narration of this book!Savannah Peachwood and Lee Samuels were incredible!! Their voices completely captured the characters personalities and took this book to the next level! The gruff accentuated in Lee’s voice for Declan‘s character completely captivated his grumpy and frustrated demeanor. Then there was Savannah whose tone matched Hannah in every scenario perfectly from being a strong woman when it came to law but you could hear those walls breaking in her voice at other moments when it came to her feelings. A phenomenal performance that makes this narration one that I’ll be listening to again and again!

Glad I ignored the bad reviews

First I must say Lee Samuels narration is Beast Mode!
He is so powerful in that Savage, DGAF, Super Prick character!
He brought Declan so strong to life in his narration ensuring the reader hated him, then later loving him.
The story for me was well written, it had a lot of focus on Declans role as a lawyer,Hannahs role as a law student and how their lives intertwined with their occupations.
I liked that the story was not all sex(trust there was a lot & very steamy) but just as much of the story was about their profession, their family and friends.
I will say the female character was so strong in her role as a law student & shined in her intern role, but so very weak in her relationship with Declan.So many times when he was in jerk mode I wanted her to tell him to go F himself, but she never could say no to him, I wanted to smack sense into her because she was such a loveable character and you just wanted better for her.
The author gave us a great HEA and as I said earlier, I began to love Declan

Incredibly HOT HOT HOT read!

Declan Shaw ( performed by Lee Samuels) will melt the panties right off you. Such a complete alpha-hole to the very sweet Hannah Dalton (performed by Savanna Peachwood.) Both these narrators really know how to make these characters come to life in such a tantalizing way. Story is fun, surprising and completely super steamy. Get ready to have a towel close by.

I thoroughly enjoyed this dual narration. The narrator’s really brought the story to life. And the chemistry between them was phenomenal.

As for the storyline, The assumptions, miscommunications, and retaliation provided the angsty background to the various spicy scenes peppered throughout. It definitely kept things hot and bothered, but I was also rooting for the MCs to get their heads screwed on straight for their HEA. This was entertaining from the storyline to the spice and made even better by the narrators. Definitely recommend!

Presently Surprised!

After feeling totally let down by book 3 in this series, I was extremely cautious that this one could turn things around. I'm happy to report I was pleasantly surprised and so happy!

This book held all the swoon and spice I needed. I love that Declan is just a big ole fluffy bear on the inside with this alpha exterior. The fact that Hannah could hold her own to him, just ugh! Declan truly met his match in Hannah and I loved how their story had all this angst while also blossoming. Not to mention Savannah and Lee did an excellent job bringing both of these characters to life.

Will definitely be adding this to my re-read section!

Great Addition To The Series!

The Intern was a super steamy workplace romance between a lawyer, Declan and his intern, Hannah. When a one night stand and some miscommunication creates an interesting first day on the job for them both.

While I did love this story I think I'm still hooked on Ford & Sydney and they just couldn't top them for me. Definitely a great addition to this series and I'm glad we got to find out what happened between these two!
