A Delight from first to last

I've enjoyed the Thursday Murder Club series since the beginning and was delighted to hear the further adventures of the most engaging sleuths since Phryne Fisher and her gang. Richard Osman has a delightful sense of humour and his plot is nice and twisty. Thoroughly recommend to fans of mysteries on the cosier side.

Another Story from Cooper Peace

Lacked the magic I'm afraid story never really built to the Osman level of storytelling felt a little get this out for the publisher which is understandable
Maybe the next will be better or maybe a crossover with We solve murders ! In the words of Joyce " Now wouldn't that be fun "

Another great book from Richard Osman!

Like previous books in the series, I had to read this one in a weekend!

Great plot, but too little of Joyce and Elizabeth

An enjoyable audiobook. Great plot, but somehow everything felt abrupt because there were too many going on at the same time. I also felt there weren’t enough of Joyce and Elizabeth. Elizabeth did not shine as bright as before. There was also too little of Bogdan, Donna and Chris, and too much of Joanna.

A fun listen

An enjoyable human humorous tale. Sure the case is intriguing but it’s the people that make it so much fun to listen too.

it's getting better and better with each book

Donna and Elizabeth would strongly recommend this book not to be shared with Prince Edward Wessex the new Duke of Edinburgh, though.

Same same but different

Tried and tested formula. Very enjoyable but would be nice to see the characters developed further. Plot could have a few more twists

Missed the Gang!

I’ve really missed the gang and been waiting for the final book to be published. And I can say I am not disappointed. Story is wonderful, again. It really warmed my heart to see that our gang, with their own families, became a large family. A village I may say. Isn’t It what we all searching for in our lives? A little village that we belong to. With all our faults and all our love.

P.s. I am sorry to say that I am not a fan of Fiona Shaw’s narration. It feels like words get folded in her mouth before they decide to come out.

Wonderful, as usual!

The characters are charming and engaging as always. The plot is a bit more predictable than previous books, but still quite entertaining. Lots of character development for the rest, such as Kendrick, Joanna, and Connie. I hope there’s still more to come.

Another great from Richard but Fiona less than...

Another gripping, heart felt story of our elderly detectives, but sadly Fiona Shaw still hasn't learned to pronounce Ibrahim's name, frequently calling him IbraHAM. And why not give Ron his cockney accent? This is so distracting... spoiling the great story. Her Irish accent also breaks through, annoyingly, in this very English crime story. Why not try another voice actress, like Claire Corbett, so talented, amongst many others.

I'm in my 80's and love that people of our age are being given recognition for being intelligent, being real characters, and loveable, alongside of their foibles, Full of good humour! Thank you Richard Osman, for perpetuating the Thursday Murder Club's adventures. I've missed them!
