It seemed Lily had everything in life, good friends, money, nice home, but that wasn't enough, she always wanted more.

A very insecure woman, who never had money problems, but she had a huge self esteem problem. She began plastic surgery on her nose when she was a teenager. In time, whenever she needed to change something about herself, she did! She starts to think her friends have turned on her, but it 's all in her head, they're actually very worried. She didn't like the way things ended on their last get together, so she decides to invite each of them to a one on one dinner.

It seemed like a nice gesture, an intimate night with each friend to talk and bond, but there was only one problem, the dinner guests began to disappear, because Lily only wanted to bond with certain parts of them...

Whimsical Horror Vibes

This story was creepy in a way that totally worked for me. It’s not super gory, though the premise does involve body part removal, so that’s worth noting. This is the second short story I’ve read from this author, and she slips in these little rhymes throughout that I actually kind of like. It adds this weird, whimsical vibe to the horror.
