Part 1

The adventure in Nearspace continues with an odd family reunion for a summer holiday: Jem, an eight-year-old whizz kid on a quest to see a “Space gang girl”, blasts in accompanied by a reluctant chaperone, his 16-year-old stepbrother Tim, who wants a last chance to forgive his birth father — or forget him for good. The edgy conversation over the dinner table soon turns sour, and Harvie’s sharp tongue leaves deep marks on Tim’s sensitive heart that’s already scarred by his father’s combatant past. The past, that is catching up with Stan Kozerski at the space cruiser’s speed. The past that none of the four will ever leave behind. Unless they face it. All in one, one in all.
