Much like The Moorchild, this fantasy presents gentle lessons about prejudice and the hatred and fear it engenders. Kate Forbes' narrative voice keeps listeners rapt to the very end.

My absolute favorite!

This has been has been my favorite book as far back as I can remember, I truly believe this is the predecessor for all the YA books like Hunger games and Divergent
