Spicy sapphic story of love and family

I love the description of this audiobook as, “full of heart and lacking all shame.” It is definitely that. I really enjoyed this book and our two main characters, Daisy and Lorde. This book tells the tale as old as time, about the patriarchy wanting to marry off a daughter like chattel for economic and powerful gain. This book stands it on its head with two independent women doing what they want and not what’s best for the “family.” But the book also respects family tradition and wants to put a modern take on it. And the sex is smokin’! Aileen Bishop does a terrific job narrating this book. I’d love to hear more of her work. I will continue to read/listen to books by Cynthia Dane and Hildred Billings.

amazing vocal story tellinf

I loved the story line. I love the ending. its a story that'll make more than one appendage jump in excitement.

Not their best work

I was extremely disappointed in this book. These authors usually do much better at storytelling. If you’re only in it for the spice, you’ll be fine, but if you’re looking for any depth of character or plot, you will be disappointed.
