Written in a writer's prime, in a state of grace, The Hears of Lives of Men is a modern fable for grown-ups. Great story, enjoyed hearing it come to life
I read this book on its release over 30 years ago, and enjoyed hearing the character voices portrayed by Michelle Ford (especially Angie's spoiled drawl). It was like discovering it all over again.
