When a sudden death in King Devron’s royal house occurs, the Marsh Trolls are blamed. Racked by insanity, Devron uses an ancient magic against his enemies. But Boglack, the Marsh Troll king, has been waiting for such an opportunity, and the invasion of Hapis begins.
The once-mannered and kind Marsh Trolls fall victim to a wicked curse. Punishing any and all who would "commit manners", they seize control of the kingdom of Hapis and rule with an iron fist.
As the children of the Traveler’s League pass through the kingdom, they must help the good citizens of Hapis, who are hiding in the forest.
This story was created using ideas submitted by 12 children who are fans of The Traveler’s League Series. The author includes each child’s original submission!
The Hapis Chronicles is a prequel in The Traveler’s League fantasy series for middle grade listeners. (Ages 8-13).
