Bagpuss, created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, is no ordinary cat. Every time Emily brings something to Bagpuss, he wakes up and the whole shop bursts into life! Together they uncover the hidden stories behind the objects that Emily finds. Professor Yaffle is always ready with his knowledge, Madeleine sings lovely songs, Gabriel strums his banjo, and the mice add their playful energy. Together, they make each forgotten treasure something magical, where stories, music, and imagination reign supreme.

Emily brings a Scottish doll named Hamish to the shop. Bagpuss and his friends are excited to explore Hamish's world! Professor Yaffle dives into Scottish history, while Madeleine and Gabriel fill the shop with lively Scottish tunes. The mice add their usual humor, imagining Hamish's adventures in the Highlands with funny twists. It's a joyful episode that celebrates the rich folklore of Scotland, bringing music, magic, and laughter to Hamish's tale.
