sweet and action-filled

i enjoyed listening to the Gunslinger. The story is welk thought out and written. The narrator read it smoothly and the change in voices helped depict when different characters were speaking. Fully recommend and am looking forward to ither stories in the series.

Loved this!

This is a sweet and clean read that will tug at your heartstrings. A young widow with a small child and another on the way. Her late husbands brother wants her land and is willing to play dirty to get it started she refuses to marry him. This novel is full of good and bad people... people who will mistreat others because they are scared of another. However, Gus looks after Hannah as if she were his own daughter. He hires her help from outside and oh what help it is. The story moved along well and had well developed characters. There was enough suspense and romance to keep to keep you interested. Friendships were built and it had a HEA in more ways than one.

The narration was done very well. The voices from one character to the next were easy to follow.

Great Narration

Spencer Dillehay did a great job narrating this story. It is shorter than the books I typically listen to. It was a fun listen and I look forward to listening to more of the series.

Short But Powerful

A wonderful audiobook and it was only 2 hours and 54 minutes long. This story packed a powerful punch in that length of time. I loved Hannah and the other characters. Gus was a steady presence that she could depend on but what about the gunslinger they hired? Hannah soon found out if Eli Jones was a good man or not. Her brother in law, Wallace wanted the land Hannah had so he goes to great lengths to try to get her to marry him. When Hannah turns him down over and over you will find out just how far he will go to get that land. This is such a great story and I loved listening to the narrator too.

What a great start to a series!!

I absolutely love historical fiction dealing with the law so Gunslinger was a hit for me. I love Eli's quiet strength and the calm he brings to any problem. I loved the narration.
