The characters in this book never wanted to take anyone's life to save their own.

I tried really hard to enjoy this book. I just had a really hard time. Believing that a group of pacifist would survive the apocalypse. I kept turning it off and waiting a couple days. Going back and releasing to maybe hope it would get a little better and it never did.

Pathetic!

Dear (female) author... women are NOT all anxiety filled weaklings or balls-to-the-wall bitches! Every female in this story has a mental disorder, are you kidding? You, obviously, have a poor view of the female sex. I'm horrified by the lack of any logical intelligent women in this book... it was a good thing that there were men to take care of them! This is the first and last book I will purchase from this author.

the books were good,if romance is your thing,....it's not my thing,so,I wasn't really into it...if i had to describe it,I would say apocalyptic romance.....so,that's why I say heads up,because if I had known it was romantic,I would've skipped it....but,if you like romantic, you'll probably like it.....😉

Mediocre story line with unlikable characters

Plot was underdeveloped and story lacked detail and depth. Every female character was mentally ill, weak, unreasonable, and bitchy. I have never read a book with more unstable unhinged women characters. The male characters were mostly reasonable and relatable. The women were chronic victims who were so bitchy and unlikeable they somehow generated no sympathy. The women were constantly being kidnapped and held prisoner by psychopaths. That repeated story line got old very fast. Not realistic or enjoyable.

Weak, Pathetic Characters

This story had potential, but the characters were whiny, cowardly, and weak! It would have been better if the main character had been Sam, and getting to her daughter the main storyline. Mel and Eric should have been killed off in the first book. Mel was whiny and Eric was a pansy!

Dumb and Dumber

Really dumb storyline, and characters. Would have been better without the sex, but I guess it was a page filler. Hard to finish lacklustre book like this.

Outstanding!

Wow!! This audio series grabbed me right away. Mel and Sam are a great and exciting duo. Lots of interesting obstacles come their way along with plenty of fun and exciting adventures all while Elijah is not far behind! So many twists and turns, I never knew what was going to happen next! I fell in love with all the characters and loved each element they brought to the story. Very well written and very exciting to read! I could not stop listening! The rannator did an excellent job capturing every moment of this story!

Disliked this book so much, I want to return, it was so bad I will never listen to her books again, hated the weak main character, and all the poor me attitudes, I found myself , yelling at the stupidity of the main character, even the secondary characters were awful, found myself rooting for the bad guys, that's when I knew, did not want to listen to a second more of this book

What’s up with the bad reviews?

Great story. Great narrators. Couple annoying characters, but what book doesn’t have that?!? I listen to an unhealthy amount of audio books. This one was great and keeps your attention. If you like emp, cmp, any end of days kind of thing this is a change of pace and enjoyable.
