Many years ago, the great Elemental Dragons were turned into humans while they were still pups and transported to the "other realm" (Earth). They were forced to grow up in Earth society under foster parents, having no idea of their heritage, or even the fact that dragons actually existed. An epic tale, set in the epic world of Shestafa, now follows the story of these young Dragons as they are hurled into a strange world in their quest to overthrow the army of the Mad King, following the brutal genocide he has instigated. Mack is a freshman at Cal-Tech. He thinks that his life is just as ordinary as everyone else, until one day he finds out the stunning truth that he is, in fact, an Air Dragon, capable of a hurricane force roar. Hidden on Earth as a pup, by the White Witch LeDeara, Mack and two other dragons, Dunia and Arlen, have no idea what is about to be asked of them. Now they will be returned to Shestafa, to meet their friend Mei, the Fire Dragon, and be trained to fight the deadly army of the Mad King. On Shestafa, Mack is introduced to his trainer, Romayo, and to his rider, the painfully shy Misty. Together the friends must somehow stay alive while staying one step ahead of the looming shadow of the Mad King. And all the time they are learning new skills in their bid to control the elements and how dragon magic works, ready to take their chance to return Shestafa to the peace and tranquility it has been denied for so long.
