Franky, the little red dachshund, lives with Gram and Gramps in a cabin in the woods. Every morning, Franky does his daily dachshund stretch (that's how dachshunds get so long) and goes to see if Gram dropped anything interesting into his bowl. Treats are very important in Franky's world. But even more important are his friends Nellie, Hen-rietta, Zippy, and Blackie the bear. They have one funny (mis)adventure after another, learning lessons about God, Christmas, and life along the way.
