Was so impressed read about him on Wikipedia and now I’m even more impressed! Thank you for making this difficult theory something even I can understand. Well Done!

Paradigm shifting is never easy to accept

How did we get here, what should we do now, and where are we going, are the 3 key questions all of us ask ourselves at some point. Quantum theory suggest that these questions are subjective, not objective as Einstein would have us believe. Einstein would have us believe that energy is the only thing that exists and everything can be reduced to energy.
Quantum theory would have us believe that the only thing that exists is consciousness free from the constraints of time Quantum theory would have us believed that the only thing that exist is consciousness free from the constraints of time and dimension. Existence is a muddled wave of energy that collapses once it is observed. Every Individual Individual consciousness creates a multiverse that is a subjective reality

Must read for anyone with an interest in consciousness and reality. Basically anyone with a brain.

Totally refreshing and engrossing

Although I am still trying to wrap my head about Lanza’s words, I find myself intellectually, intuitively and emotionally y agreement with it.
I have my own little spin on biocentrism that I have begun to apply: using the Buddhist concept of “compassionate attention” to my act of observation. I am imbuing my observations of the universe with that concept to create a better world. Since as an observer I collapse the wavefront into a particular particle, I maintain that imbuing that observation with kindness creates a kinder universe. It is working for me. I am experiencing a kinder, better universe.
Thank you dear colleague (I am an Ophthalmologist) for this beautiful theory. It has brought together for me many things together in my life.

Easy to read

I could understand most of this, even though I'm not a scientist, mathematician, physicist, etc. The narrator was awesome. I will listen to, and read this book again!

Very thought provoking

This book does one of the best jobs I've yet read in describing the hard problem of consciousness, or the question of subjective experience. The first half of the book is spent defining terms and clearly illustrating the topic the author is trying to address. Most books on this topic tend to degrade into a wilderness of circular reasoning when it comes to definitions, and it's refreshing to see an author that has a firm grasp of their subject and an ability to convey a slippery subject in clear coherent terms. I found myself thinking "yes, he gets it" several times reading through this section of the book.

Where I think the book stumbles a little is in the latter portions where it starts to connect specific phenomenon in to try to bolster its theory. I gather the author has several other books on the same topic (none of which I've read), and this section is intended to bring more evidence to the theory to add on to those prior books. For example, he spends a lot of time on ion channels in the synapses of the brain and how quantum effects play a role on them, manifesting in non-deterministic thought (attempting to support the idea of "free will" whatever that is). These individual new findings had a little feeling of going off into the weeds of minutia after reading the initial part proposing the over-arching theory. Even so, it was still a good thought provoking book.

Interesting

Sadly wrote in too many absolutes to be considered truly scientific.
Also, he can’t seem to decide if consciousnesses is one as humanity or separate in each human. I would argue it is one: where is the difference between the cells in my brain connecting via chemicals or our brains connecting via translated sound etc.
But even if the theory is ultimately correct he should hedge his speech to not include only absolutes.
