“The Gospel of the Kingdom – More Than a Cross: The World’s Best Kept Secret” is a short companion to my larger work titled “Hebrews? Africans? Or Does It Matter? Revised Edition: The World’s Best Kept Secret”, unveiling the deeper meaning behind Paul’s declaration about the gospel of Christ in Romans 1:16–17.

This companion book shows that, according to the Bible, the “gospel of Christ” is far more than the message of the cross alone. Many references in the New Testament declare that the gospel of Christ is the gospel of the Kingdom of God, a transformative announcement of salvation as soteria: wholeness, restoration, identity, and righteous living by faith. It reveals how this same gospel reveals the righteousness of God, the very righteousness Jesus/Yeshua commanded us to seek first in Matthew 6:33. With clarity and passion, this book reintroduces the biblical principle of zakar - the Hebrew word translated “remember” in scripture, referring not remembering as in recalling, but by keeping alive the history, culture, and truth - by our actions.

This is a game changer, as we know that the history and culture were stripped from so-called Black people in America through a unique type of slavery never seen before in the history of all mankind. This work, therefore, restores the Kingdom context that was always bigger than the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - embracing the these things, yet extending far beyond them - calling listeners back to the whole message God intended for Israel first, then for the rest of the world.
