To My surprise, Jesus immediately accepted the invitation and offered to narrate the events of His life.
There is nothing new here, the same as what we already knew; but narrated and commented on by Jesus.
You will not find curious facts here, but profound insights, expressed in a very simple way.
There is nothing strange here; nothing new: The old story told in a new way, that's for sure.
You will find “old things” that you may not have understood, and “new things”, drawn from the old, that sound novel. That is the Kingdom of Heaven – says Jesus.
You will see once again that Jesus is present among us: “Know that I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Mt 28:20).
If there is any phrase here that moves you deeply, do not doubt it, it is Jesus who tells it to you so that you can incorporate it into your life.
And, Jesus!, if there is anything here that you don't like, forgive Me, Lord, for I copied it badly because You speak too softly and I am deaf: You know it!
Thank you, Jesus, for the patience you have had with Me: I have called upon you at the most inconvenient hours, and you have always come. Forgive Me, too, Jesus, for the times I have made you wait and let you down.
You, Jesus, never tire of speaking; but I have grown tired of copying: Sometimes My back aches and My eyes burn with exhaustion, and My heart burns with joy.
You, Lord, are always available to those who listen to You - You have told Me so, and I have seen it.
That same Voice of Jesus, which you too will be able to hear within yourself, without the noise of words, as I hear it, will take care of explaining to you what is specifically appropriate for your life.
All these narratives are in accordance with the teachings of the Church. There is nothing here that contradicts what the Church has taught for two thousand years.
Jesus does not want us to go to the pages of the Holy Gospel to theorize, but to put God's Holy Will into practice. He has repeated this to Me many times:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven”. (Mt 7:21)
We ask the Holy Spirit, together with His divine Lights, to give us the grace to transform His teachings into a fire that burns the soul and a flame that ignites the world with His Love.
Finally, I will answer you, dear reader, the question you have in mind: What does it feel like when Jesus tells you the Gospel? The same as the disciples on the road to Emmaus felt: “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
And another question you have the right to ask yourself: Who is the author? –the author: NO!, the copyist-.
I am a poor devil, a bag of trash! God has taken Me under His wing to teach Me how to listen to His Voice, and He has given Me the task of teaching others to listen to it, just as He has taught Me.
Our Lady of Mercy has a lot to do with all of this! I give thanks to her, because it was on September 24th, her feast day, that I received the call to dedicate myself to God.
