This left me wondering why the biblical, historical, and systematic evidence is not convincing to many Muslims. Then it struck me: the Quran is the sole authority for the majority of Muslims. Nevertheless, the Quran is replete with biblical references and quotations. I decided to show my Muslim friend that the Quran quoted more than 7,000 Bible verses, some verbatim and many by the meaning.
