The best-selling American mystery writer of all time brings back his world-famous P.I. Mike Hammer for his biggest and most dangerous case yet.

In the midst of a Manhattan snowstorm, Hammer halts the violent robbery of a pair of college sweethearts who have stumbled onto a remarkable archeological find in the Valley of Elah: the perfectly preserved femur of what may have been the biblical giant Goliath. Hammer postpones his marriage to his faithful girl Friday, Velda, to fight a foe deadlier than the mobsters and KGB agents of his past: Islamic terrorists and Israeli extremists bent upon recovering the relic for their own agendas.

Completed after Spillane's death by his frequent collaborator, Max Allan Collins, this thriller is as classic as Spillane's own I, the Jury and as contemporary as The Da Vinci Code.

Thank you Mr Collins for carrying the torch.

the Spirit of Mickey Spillane lives on.

I used to love watching Stacey Keach as Mike Hammer on tv as a kid but western pulp and murder mystery’s have never been my thing. I was not disappointed in picking this as lighter fair from classics and hard moderns.

Great pulp mystery

All the twists and turns of Mike Hanmer post 9/11 in the style of 1960's New York City

Mickey Spillane and Stacey Keach at their finest.

Stacy Keach is brilliant as usual. His performance as Mike Hammer continues to make him Mike Hammer. This story is just too long for me. It should have been several chapters shorter. It is like a movie that takes to long to get to the point. Or as in this case a book that should have reached its climax a couple of thousand words ago. I enjoyed the story overall. I didn’t like some parts like what happened to the bone. Nor the fate of the parents. And especially a long time friend and companion. I am a happily ever after guy.

Too Much
