As one ages as a pastor, minister, or missionary one would think that this would be a time of rest, comfort, and reflection. However, for a pastor who has cared for people all his life, this time of aging can be extremely troubling. Other professions get their worth from products produced, plans fulfilled, and money made, but the pastor finds his worth in people and their discipleship in Christ. This book explores the many facets of aging as a pastor, from the death and loss of a spouse to the loss of money and the loss of a vocation that one has pursued all of life. The book endeavors to view the aging pastor from the emotional, spiritual, and economic perspectives and offer solutions to replace the loss with gains and a new faith. Life is not over, just different. Life has not left you behind. God is still present and hope is ever-present from an early age to later elderly moments.
