Like Resuscitation to My Purpose

For years I have been trying to walk freely in with my Marketplace assignment, but I could not articulate how I was being led in a way for others to understand. As a person who loves God and loves the church, I learned what I needed to live a God-pleasing life in the church and have taken it out into my work and life to live it out. At times this seemed to conflict with the formality of church because I was on the road some weekends and not in attendance at church. However, I was seeing God show up in my business meetings, speaking engagements, and workshops through the responses and the results my clients received as a result of my work.

This book clearly outlines marketplace ministry and God's intent for Marketplace ministry. It further outlines practical actions that can be seamlessly implemented even into a busy schedule to ensure that we can maximize our God-given potential as marketplace leaders.

While engaging the book the word "resuscitation" came to mind. One of its meanings is to make something such as an idea or enterprise active or vigorous again. I listened to the book traveling to a business event and felt my confidence and assurance revived. Thanks to the author for this book that will be a very useful tool in my marketplace ministry toolbox.

Good story, some distractions

I love the story, but I am distracted by the overuse of personal pronouns. Most of all I am encouraged by another voice promoting the church beyond the walls of organized ministry.
