Fun story.

When I purchased this audiobook, I assumed it was going to be a continuation with the main characters introduced in the first book, but that really wasn’t the case. The characters from the first book really only have a supporting role here. The premise was interesting, but not quite as good as the first book. But, It does have the continuing theme of evil woman abuses wimpy dishrag of a man, who, finally in the end realizes he’s got a pair and steps up. That being said, it was still a pretty good book, and I will purchase the next book in the series when it comes available on Audible. The narrator is very good!

Good Enough, but not as Good as Book 1

Though I enjoyed this book, I just couldn't get past Amanda and her attitude towards Darren and her verbal abuse. I couldn't stand her character so much I nearly quite listening to the book. What a rubbish person as well as her family. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline. Hoping book 3 comes out soon and is better.
