Wonderfully Written and Read
A sweet coming of age story for all ages. The narrator’s smooth and southern tone transports you to the mountain range and into an adventure of a young boy. The survival and suspense, reminiscent of Gary Paulson, blend beautifully with the innocence of youth as a boy learns lessons about friendship, faith, and the forest.

Excellent story with an outstanding narrator!
This was an action packed, great classic story with a narrator that made the story come to life. A great read for the whole family, and a story that has the perfect amount of suspense, action, feel good life lessons and even some laughter to boot. I am very picky with audio books, a good narration is key, and this narrator made listening to this book very enjoyable.

Truly a great book for any age
This book really brought back the feeling of being a young adventurous explorer with so much relatable content with my own time in the mountains. I will surely be letting my kids read/season to this book when they are older.
