Satisfying

What a lovely story! There was a lot of tension… both romantic and emotional, without being spicy or crude. I loved the ways the Rebels found to alleviate suffering and I also loved the satisfyingly happy ending!

Charming and funny with a touch of Ann of Geen Gables. No one had green hair but some good contenders. Quick read and enjoyable.

Swoon. Sigh. Heart Eyes. Repeat. And I did just that for this reread. If you love gentle care and affection, Friends to Lovers, and laughter, then this story is for you.

Jemma Fielding grants her grandmothers dying wish to marry AND fall in love. To do so she enlists the Matchmaking Mamas, but she doesn’t know the first thing about falling in love or helping the man they choose for her to fall as well. Jemma turns to none other than “Mr. Romantic” himself the Rector and her friend.

Miles Jackson has cared for Jemma his whole life and it has blossomed to more as the years have gone on. After Jemma Championed his staying in his home in his youth and finding a way to make it happen he was a goner.

Jemma’s pleading for Lessons On Love just might do him in. When he reluctantly agrees he starts to hope and then finds the determination to show her his true feelings.

If you couldn’t tell I absolutely adored this story. Every moment spent in this world was heartwarming and wonderful.

I laugh out loud! So far this series is my favorite series by Walker!! I think I might have loved this story even more then I loved Paul’s story ♥️

My favorite of the series

Loved the narration! Even though I knew what the ending would be I enjoyed the journey! The first two books were a little slow but this one had really good pace and kept me interested.

Charming and adorable, a must read friends to more romance!

This story was absolutely fabulous! Friends to more is a tricky trope sometimes to convince the reader the main characters have a valid reason to not go for it. I feel like Anneka Walker knocked it out of the park with the motivations for both Miles and Jemma and I was both hooked and invested from start to finish.

There were so many elements and moments to just simply LOVE in this story. From the dynamic between Miles and Jemma, to the rest of the Rebel and matchmaking mamas cast, the characters stole my heart and I wanted to be their real-life friend. I really enjoyed the way this book balanced depth, humor, and swoony romance. It had some surprises I did not see coming that made me just squeal in delight and excitement. I also appreciated some top-notch banter and witty one-liners in this book. Miles had an unexpected humor and wit about him I absolutely loved for the character of a Regency vicar.

James Joseph was an incredible narrator and nailed it with his performance of Miles. I could listen to him all day. I also felt like Mary Jane Wells was good with Jemma’s perspective and the two went well together for this dual POV romance. I’ll definitely be listening to this again. I recommend this audiobook.

Adorable and Fun

I loved this book so much. It was sweet and so funny. The characters were great. I will definitely listen to the rest of the series and keep this one in mind for a repeat.

The narration was honestly some of THE BEST I have ever heard! I couldn't stop listening! They did a fantastic job! And the storyline was clever, funny, and charming. An adorable listen that I have already told many friends about!
