Hard to get into.

I’ve always loved Jane Green. I’ve read every single book. I struggled with this one though. It felt more of a chore to listen so that I could move on to another book. I think I prefer her older style of writing.

I enjoyed the story

This story reminds us what is important in life. We all weave our own path and when that path crosses true friendship, it can last a lifetime- through anything.

Thoroughly enjoyed it

I enjoyed this story and the author reading it. I feel in love with her voice.

Good story but too long

This book needed better editing. Reference the extended topics surrounding animals - both farm and domestic. Those should have been cut in my opinion. Also, I tend to be wary when the author is the Audible narrator as with this book. But indeed Jane Green did a good job narrating. I just wish she had noticed the 60+ minutes of unimportant narrative. The story is captivating, though, which is the overall take away.

Slow going

This book picked up about halfway through when Evie and Ben slept together. I feel that it could’ve been condensed in about 20 fewer chapters. The narration was good and the storyline itself was good, but I felt myself wanting to rush through it towards the end.

I loved it!!!

Story was heartwarming. Brought me back to my college days and the friends i met. Jane did such a great job reading the book and changing her voice,accent, and tone for each character. I couldn’t wait to go for my daily walk to hear what was happening next!

A good book about how true friendships can endure separation and the passage of time and still remain intact.

A Gentle Story

A gentle story, Easy to listen to at the beach or anywhere. Compassion within friendship is the theme, while gaining understanding of how to forgive past errors.. Honesty and kindness about gay relationships. A "positive" book for all ages.

Great story!

Love the story, however the narration was very dull. I tried to immerse myself in the story itself to keep up with the listening.
