Undone by Virtual Narration

I really thought I would enjoy this book. I’m an avid audiobook listener because I love how great narration brings stories to life, but in this case, I can’t truly review the story itself because I couldn’t get past the second chapter. The virtual voice made it impossible for me to stay engaged.

After investing so much into crafting an eight-hour book (or any book), it’s hard to understand why it would be paired with a virtual voice that feels flat and disconnected. The emotion didn’t land, the pacing felt off, and the overall effect pulled me out of the experience instead of drawing me in.
