Resumen del Editor

Listeners who want to better understand the founding principles of America, as expressed in the words of the Founding Fathers, will love this book. In developing The Founders' Speech to a Nation in Crisis, author Steven Rabb spent two years compiling the words of the Founding Fathers into narrative form, weaving their texts into a single powerful speech to America. His purpose was to give depth to the conversation happening in America today about America's founding ideals. In so doing, Steven has also created a single source of "best of" quotes from the Founding Fathers that will be heard and reheard for generations to come.

Steven Rabb has created a powerful audiobook through the synergized writings of America's Founding Fathers. Through their words, Steven has demonstrated with amazing clarity the continuing relevance of America's founding ideals, and their resonance for our nation today. Framing the work as a reunion between the Founders in contemporary America, Steven gives voice to their views on modern-day issues, from religious liberty and the rule of law to freedom of speech and the continuing threat of tyranny.

The Founders' Speech to a Nation in Crisis is a tapestry of the Founders' own words, written in 10 chapters and woven into a single, powerful speech and call to action for every American. The continuing relevance of our Founders' words - as revealed in this unique, meticulously crafted work - is a clarion call to defend our natural rights that will stun listeners and leave them celebrating America's founding ethos and principles.

Every man, women and child should and discuss

Our country is off course. This book will open eyes, hearts and hopefully some needed discussion between The People.

Really Nice

I purchased this book three times now. Once in audio format and then a couple more in print. The book is a fictionalized speech given by the Founders using entirely quotes from all the great liberty figures in history. If you are very well read you won't find much new here, but I still think the reading is quite worth it. And to those not so well read, it's a fantastic shorthand for those not as familiar with the words and ideas of the Founders. I got the print version just to have the compendium of quotes at my finger tips.

Do recommend. It is uplifting mostly and can illuminate many topics of today.

INFO FOR THE EVERYMAN

Our Founding Fathers sought to create “ a more perfect Union.” It is obvious by the many quotes of these creative minds that they thought long and hard. We as a people should be most thankful for the opportunity they have afforded all of us. It is now our responsibility to hold dear that which they have created. Everyman should be required to hear the texts that Rabb has compiled for us: to learn, to understand, and to live.
This is a work you can listen to over and over again to inspire you on a daily basis.

A great revisit of our founders thoughts and words

Steven Rabb has done a great job researching and compiling the thoughts of our founders. His delivery in speech format was right on.. live and let live. Accept alternatives and wait and work for changes. Taking full control of the government by destroying the opposition party and forcing your will upon the all the people from the federal government IS tyranny.

Must listen

I agree that this book should be required reading/listening. So much of what is said, I never heard, or have forgotten. The founders of this country were truly amazing. And yes, if America fails, the world fails.
