Slow and repetitive

I made it through the first book but I don't i think can take any more of this series.

annoying

the series started out great but as the story went on, the main charafter was acting like she didn't need a man's help but kept getting into scenarios that required a man's intervention. tried to make the character strong but ended up being annoying and whiney.

Not the best work of this amazing author

I am very confused with this collection. It feels like first two book were written by a beginner writer and lacking all amazing content that usually Eve’s books have. No great humor, no amazing adventure and world building and no steamy scenes - just boring and repetitive stuff.
If you want to make it to the end of the series- skip first two book. They do not contribute anything to the story and just will make you frustrated and disappointed.

too slow

I couldn't get through the first two chapters. returning it. very hard to like

Rather Disappointing

In my opinion, she ended up with the wrong guy. How does the heroine end up with the guy that doesn't even show up until somewhere in the second book? I like other stories by this author, just not this one.
