Murdered by a dead man?

A woman named Maria Gomez is murdered in Miami, apparently by her husband - who'd been presumed dead, slain by a crime boss. Soon, rumors of crazed zombies abound in the Miami media, and the Krewe of Hunters, an elite FBI unit of paranormal investigators, is called in. Brett and Lara find themselves working with the Krewe - and working closely together. An elderly crime boss who's losing his memory seems to be key to solving this case, but...there's no motive. Unless Brett and Lara can uncover one in the Miami underworld. And that means they have to protect themselves. And each other.

Thrilling book

Where does The Forgotten rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In the top listening entertainment. I thoroughly enjoy Heather Graham as a writer. There is romance, mystery, suspense and it keeps you wanting to read more.

Good book/bad narrator

I liked this book. However, this is the second one I have listened to with this narrator and he really doesn’t do a good job with womens “voices”. Luke Daniels is much better.

Entertaining

Y first audible purchase and I was very satisfied . This was a good story and I found it very entertaining . Hard to turn off .

Waiting for the next ones

I loved the book as usual. Continue intriguing me. I can't wait for new Krewe of hunters

Great Book

I love all Heather Graham books! Kept me on my seat guessing the whole time!!!

Series becoming too formulaic

I have ready/listened to all of the Krewe of Hunters books and early on in the series I found them to be an exciting mix of crime, romance, and the paranormal. As the series has progressed the story lines have become imitations of previous books. I keep listening out of a loyalty to the author, but I think this will be my last Krewe of Hunters book. Heather Graham is a great author so I do suggest her other books.

Disappointed

I waited a long time for this audio book, and I was really disappointed.

The story was not good. I love Krewe Of Hunters, but this one didn't do anything for me. It wasn't intense like the others,and it was predicable.

The story wasn't believable at all. Zombies, really. Almost zombies, not any better. The love story was boring and predictable. Not one of my favorite HG books. I feel like I wasted a credit!!!

Awful!!

Awful!! Annoying narration, ridiculous story, don't even bother. A ridiculous story with good character development and graphic sexual scenes that are out of proportion to the rest of the details in the narration

Awful

I was amazed that anyone could string so many cliches into sentences. Apart from the ridiculous story line and the turgid prose, the narration was awful. He could do Cuban but he couldn't do woman.

I did however get to the end, but I think that says more about my life than the book.
