The United States isn’t the place it used to be. While a mysterious deadly fog imprisons people in their homes, a group of billionaire investors take over the country and run it as a private organization. All Eliza Daniels ever wanted was a simple life, but circumstances seem to conspire against her. As a member of the media before it was disbanded, she suddenly finds herself with information that could save the country.
