The third discovers a plant that can heal anyone. They return to the crossroads. They look at the gifts. In the mirror, they see that their father is dying.

They jump on the Magic Carpet and fly home. With the magic medicine the chief is cured. Who should he pick?

This African folktale about three brothers searching for something special to bring back to their father is a very clever tale. When the three meet up after their search, they each have gathered what they believe to be the best gift, a mirror that that can show them see anyone they wish, a flying carpet and a magic medicine. They decide to see their father in the mirror and learn he is deathly ill. They hop onto the flying carpet and arrive in no time at their father's side and administer the magic medicine to him. The great chief is healed. So which one of his son's will the chief choose to become the next chief of the village?
