Over the past twenty-five years, five friends reunite for their annual week-long getaway of comradery and adventure. The characters feel so real—you root for each of the five as their individual personalities, old inside jokes, and buried tensions come to life against the backdrop of Cayuga’s misty waters and dramatic gorges. The suspense builds masterfully: every twist feels earned, and the revelations about who can truly be trusted kept me guessing until the explosive final pages.
