Sheriff Paula Williams thought the small town of Middletown was a quiet and somewhat boring place to retreat to forget about the hectic life of New York City. She was wrong. Not all Middletown residents are as harmless as they seem. Hidden among them, a predator has just kidnapped a young victim, and his identity is not as obvious as it might seem. He is a man willing to kill to avoid being discovered. Some secrets that have long remained hidden will have to be revealed before the hunt is over.
