Love it!

The narrators did a good job.

This is the third book of her story. Can't be read as a standalone. In this one she is introduced to Marco who I would say hires her to be his fake bride but she really didn't have a choice. This one ends in a cliffhanger still with Marco. Kai and Nathaniel make an appearance in this one. Marco helps her get redemption from what happened to her in the other story. It seems there is more than Nathaniel than him being the ER doctor. Can't wait to read/listen to the rest of this story.

Dark Dirty Fun

This series is seriously just full of dark, delicious fun. I'm loving this journey as River works her way through these men and seems to be inching towards some serious suspense.

I loved Marco. That man was unhinged and over the top and part of me is pretty sad he's not endgame because who doesn't love a made man willing to go to any lengths to protect you and make you feel safe? And his sister was amazing; I really hope she can keep that relationship...

The audio was fantastic. Sean Masters and Kallestra Spencer were both fantastic and I loved this listen. Thank you so much to Pink Flamingo for the advanced copy!

It just gets better

Narration: five star perfection, I could listen all day. And I did.

Story: ERMAGERD Love! Secrets, tension, more secrets, danger, betrayal, a funeral and a wedding. Like... it'll make your head spin in the most lovely way. Absolutely loving our new man. I'm a sucker for an anti-hero and he's definitely one. I'm looking forward to learning more about the things HE is hiding and seeing how River handles it when it all comes out.

This series is serious about it's cliffhangers... thankfully, the next one is out so I can continue to binge...

Contract and Lies

River "Rose" Fox is in over her head with not only her stalker, but also her newest client, Marco Mancini, who takes immense pleasure in pushing every single one of her buttons (don't worry, she pushes back, which I LOVE). Oh, and let us not forget her prior love interests, Kai and Nathaniel Reed who manage to pop up repeatedly.

Every once and again, River starts to lose herself, but I admire when she course corrects. She stands up to those in her orbit and takes back her power. Unsurprisingly, that doesn't stop people from continuing to try to ruffle her or from being hurt, one of which is an absolute heartbreaker. 💔😢🤧 Yeah, that one required a quiet moment.

How this left off? I expect that to go over like a lead balloon. Hmm... what kind of trouble is in store for River? I can't wait to find out! Seriously, I have all kinds of thoughts, but I am intrigued as to how this may play out.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Kallestra Spencer and Sean Masters. As most of the book is from River's POV, I really wish this was in duet, but I like the narrators and can deal.

The Filthy One is the third book in The Escort series. River is a high-end escort. Marco makes her an offer she couldn't decline. She doesn't know why she is drawn to Marco. After marrying Marco, she can't deny her attraction to him.

Kallestra Spencer and Sean Masters did a fantastic job narrating this book.
