A Fun Fiction 2nd chance romance adventure

I received a free copy of this audiobook. I really enjoyed listening to this story as it was a fun fantasy adventure. I know we read fiction to take us places and let us be apart of a world other than our own. I am not sure if it was the narration or the story which kept me from quite getting all the way into this story. Or, maybe it was just me. Because I did enjoy my time within this story and I will be looking for another opportunity to read other offerings from this author and narrator. Happy Reading ! !

Hidden secret

Sweet story of finding your first love . They both had crushes on each other through highschool but lost touch . I enjoyed the story. It is a clean book to listen to. I was given an ARC and would recommend.

predictable over done romance

first: the narrator was annoying. she talked in the exact same 5 word intonation pattern. worse, it ALWAYS ended like she'd asked a question. every five words. whether it was the end of the sentence or not. she did do well with the dialogue and voices. but the rest no.
the story started out pretty good. some stupidity on the h part. then it delved into some real stupidity (he kept telling her AND showing her he was rich, she never really got it into her head).
But the real eye rolls and moaning comes with his secret...and then her reaction.
if I would have been holding a physical book in my hands I would have thrown it out the window, after ripping it up and maybe setting it on fire.
spoiler alert: his big secret? he was married before. GASP * Shock* more drama of epic proportions. seriously?? she compared him to Jane Eyre's Mr. Rochester! Locks herself in her room and "can't talk to anyone" ...for 12 hours. does he really love her if he has a crazy ex-wife???
Really.
Until that point it is just a very annoying narrator (I have literally never complained about a narrator before) and some pretty delusional fantasies of how billionaires make financial decisions. But otherwise a cute love story.
*I just have to mention the wedding gown. The h and her family were totally shocked at the exuberant price of the gown (that needed no alterations BTW) was SO EXPENSIVE! it was $3000. by how current many other things mentioned in the story were, and that she was living in NYC....another huge eye roll.

Sweet Second Chance Story

Jasmine and Troy were classmates when they were younger but reunited in a chance encounter as adults. I thought the narrator did a great job and I liked got romantic Troy was. Highly recommend!

This is the sixth book in the Secret Billionaire Romance Series. Jasmine and Troy's second chance to love is sweet, clean, and fast paced, filled with drama, secrets, and twists and turns. I like the family spirit of this story. Sarah Sampino did a great job with the narration.
