When the owner of the Titans forces him and his buddies to be sold like cattle at a bachelor auction he barely endures the event, until a feisty brunette bids half a million dollars for him. He's completely drawn to Izzy, but when he finds out her father is the owner of the Titans, sparks fly and everybody's loyalties are challenged.

Good story despite the narration

Like it better when narrators can get into the roles and change their voices to match. Also when not doing characters the narrator reads it as a tongue in cheek comedy no matter what. The story survives the narration.

Wholesome and cute, too old of a narrator

I didn't like it, but it's a cute and wholesome story without discussing religion. I really hated the narrator choice. She is too old for the role and clearly doesn't understand how to vocalize that age of a role. She's not a bad narrator, and I think she'd be great in an age appropriate story.

Sweet listen

This is a sweet clean romance with good narration the story is pretty straightforward I do wish it was developed a little more especially with the relationship with Izzy's father. It does come off a bit preachy at times but overall its pretty quick and easy listen.

different reader maybe?

I am having a hard time focusing on the story with this reader. very hard to follow her voice. might have to skip this one

Really? This is supposed to be “inspirational” … it’s missed by a long ways … no communication and all about physical…. Sorry but how about some depth, honesty and getting to know each other‼️

The story was cute, but the ending was a bust

The Storyline was okay, but the plot twist of her dad actually being a decent guy was really lame and unrealistic. Also, the engagement at the end seemed forced and that it happened just because of the title of the book.

This story was just OK..

There were a few times that I thought that's "REALLY" that's happening? When they went on the date after she bought him st auction it seemed like and that day never ended. Then when they went on his boat the entire water sports had me confused. I had to backup this story and listen again.

When the nurse bailed out of the Mexico trip and mama needed someone to take her place... Izzy was standing there and available to go.. hmm really?

The situation in Mexico, the kidnapping, and the plan to get them together as a couple. Once again I thought really? I'm not sure if I was tired or if the story was written and read in a confusing way. It just seemed that the story was reaching to make it interesting. I finished listening to this one but I'm not planning on moving to another in the series. There are no sex scenes so if that's what you're looking for then this is not the book for you but it was ok

Snooze Fest & Terrible Narrator!

The story had promise when it started. Typical and predicable, but It could have went so much further... but never got there. Overall, this book was so darn boring! Straight snooze fest!

The narrator... TERRIBLE! So Izzy is a half white/half Columbian, daughter of a football team owner and Xavier is black football player to a single mom and didn't have the best child (the description, put ever so nicely, sounds like he grew up in the hood). The narrator did a terrible job at connecting these two. With the my description of the characters, imagine my surprise when the narrator sounded like a 60 year old white woman. They couldn't find anyone with some ethnicity to read this story?? Just plain ole horrible.

Oh and the author's attempted use of slang was just BAD, REALLY BAD. I think Izzy used the term "Salty" and it was just so corny and lame. I think this author needs to do a little more research before writing about people of color. I could give more examples, but I will stop...

I couldn't even finish. I do even know how I managed to listen to 3hrs and 50mins. Please don't waste your time. Keep scrolling for something good.
