After almost two decades as an Agent with the U.S. Border Patrol, a powerful congresswoman catapults Bob Heath into the FBI, without the support of their management. Older than most of his peers, Heath is determined to prove he's up to the job. He tries to infiltrate an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang but his plan quickly deteriorates and his cover is blown. Not only do the bikers arrange a fitting farewell but set him up for a crime he didn't commit. The hierarchy of the FBI is all too happy to terminate his career. His partner, Jimmie, a charismatic and connected longtime agent and Sherry, a woman who has fallen in love with him, are the only people who haven't abandoned him. While he's suspended and awaiting termination, Jimmie is kidnapped. Heath must swallow his pride and count on the very bikers that framed him to save Jimmie's life.
