Acerca de esta escucha
Welcome, welcome! With so many people slapping their neon—The Fantastic Book of Chemistry Jokes— this author’s edition has been released.
No matter your understanding of chemistry, I am sure you'll get a reaction, because the jokes within, are sodium funny. These jokes have been accumulated through years of interactions with fellow scientists and teachers, and lots of drinking in strange bars late at night.
A word of caution must be had—some jokes are innocent, and some are rude and lewd, but none are meant to offend. As studies have shown, the darker your sense of humour, the more intelligent you are. With that being said, sit back, put your feet up, and wait for the nerdy fluorine, uranium, nitrogen-filled laughs to tickle your fancy.
"Chemistry can be a good and bad thing. Chemistry is good, when you make love with it. Chemistry is bad when you make crack with it." (Adam Sandler)

From changing diapers to putting away toys, some parental jobs can be shared–but there is one that only you can master: the dad jokes! Little people are easy to entertain. They will laugh at the cheesy pizza joke that we have all heard a million times. But as children grow up, dads have to up their humor game. Your child might be able to watch their favorite movie a hundred times, but a dad joke can go from funny to old in less than a week. Traditionally, dad jokes will range from hilarious to an eye-rolling cringe. And told the right way to a group, you can get all the reactions in between.

Navigating poverty, violence, and instability, a young James Plummer had two guiding stars - a genius IQ and a love of science. But a bookish nerd is a soft target, and James faced years of bullying and abuse. As he struggled to survive his childhood in some of the country’s toughest urban neighborhoods in New Orleans, Houston, and LA, and later in the equally poor backwoods of Mississippi, he adopted the persona of “gangsta nerd” - dealing weed in juke joints while winning state science fairs with computer programs that model Einstein’s theory of relativity.

Book store nation, in the history of mankind there has never been a greater country than America. You could say we're the number one nation at being the best at greatness. But as perfect as America is in every single way, America is broken! And we can't exchange it because we're 236 years past the 30-day return window. Look around - we don't make anything anymore, we've mortgaged our future to China, and the Apologist-in-Chief goes on world tours just to bow before foreign leaders.

In 2016, with the addition of four final elements - nihonium, moscovium, tennessine and oganesson - to make a total of 118 elements, the periodic table was finally complete, rendering any pre-existing books on the subject obsolete. Tim James, the secondary-school science teacher we all wish we'd had, provides an accessible and wonderfully entertaining 'biography of chemistry' that uses stories to explain the positions and patterns of elements in the periodic table.

Throwing caution to the wind, he plunged into a new project: building a model nuclear reactor in his backyard garden shed. Posing as a physics professor, David solicited information on reactor design from the US government and from industry experts. Following blueprints he found in an outdated physics textbook, David cobbled together a crude device that threw off toxic levels of radiation.

In President Me, Carolla shares his vision for a different, better America free from big issues like big government down to small problems like hotel alarm clock placement. Running on an anti-narcissism platform, President Carolla calls for a return to the values of an earlier time when stew and casserole were on every dinner table and there were no “service dogs” on airplanes. President Me hits right at the heart of what makes our country really annoying, and offers a plan to make all of our lives, but mostly Adam’s, much better.
