I will preface by saying this has been an excellent series so far. Very entertaining with a side of suspense. Based on all the RH I’ve read (including others from this author), this was different in that several books in, you didn’t know for sure which guys were going to make the cut in her harem. This makes it harder to gage who to root for and really plays on your emotions...there was definitely some disappointment mixed in for me. I really wanted Adam to be one of her guys. He had such a special place in my heart after the Evergreen Academy series. He’s a major character as the BFF but I was hoping for more. I finally had to let it go. Further, Vincent did us wrong with the Derek situation...I died!! On the flip side, this storyline is much less predictable than most! It’s taking a bit long to get to any steamy scenes but I have high hopes for the next couple books. There are some unrealistic elements - it would be very difficult for a female to pull off a male persona for any extended length of time or perform so well physically against her male counterparts (especially considering she has no sports background). In spite of these gripes, the series has been enjoyable and engaging to this point. The narration is very well-done although I do prefer a dual/duet narration. 4 stars all around! Time for Book 4!!

Z is back
Jillian Yetter does an amazing job as Z and the guys, her voice is wonderful for this role. Z is back and is really stepping it up this year, major changes are coming and Adam is there every step of the way. Beware the cliffhanger!

Still waiting on the romance part?
I held out through books 1 and 2. I kept hoping for a little "steam" or heck even some romance, but this series is barely a romance. There are too many characters and 1 person doing all of their voices just makes it too cringe to listen to. And I just can't help but think with all these "bullies or enemies" she has, that someone would have blown the whistle on her by now. And sorry, but are we really supposed to believe that this girl body is beating all of these muscular HS boy bods in physical battles? I'm sorry, I just can't put anymore into the series. I have to stop at book 3. Sorry for the honesty.
