Resumen del Editor

Anarcho-capitalism is the most exciting social philosophy of modern times. But how does it work? This book illuminates the ethical system at the heart of anarcho-capitalism. It builds the nonaggression principle from praxeological foundations and develops techniques for applying it to real-world conflicts. It explores the edges of libertarianism to show where it shines and where it fails.

Praise for the book:

“This is an excellent book on anarcho-capitalism. It covers all the bases, and then some. This is an enjoyable read, an easy read, and at the end of the road lies real insight. Five stars.” (Walter Block, author of Defending the Undefendable)

“I was dreading reading this, but it is conceptually excellent.” (Michael Malice, author of The New Right)

“This book uses praxeology to define libertarianism based on the non-aggression principle. Ancaps may find the implications disconcerting, or illuminating.” (Stephan Kinsella, author of Against Intellectual Property)

“For those who enjoy going deep into libertarian theory, the thought experiments and strategies in this book will prove valuable.” (Jakub Bozydar Wisniewski, author of Libertarian Quandaries)

A well structured explanation of ethics and morals

loved how the author explains complex terms step by step by introducing new elements to the narrative.
A recommended book for those who want to understand better how true liberty and freedom can be achieved and what impact it would have.
good as well as a way to remove some stigmas present in terms like anarchy

Unusual but Effective!

The way this was presented was quite unique. Putting it in the form of a story where you are sort of participating as the main character kept me engaged and wondering what dilemma was coming next and how would I work it out. Of course being an an-cap already I could anticipate some of the solutions but it was really cool seeing it all in my minds eye, so to speak, like watching a movie and feeling like your really there. It was just a really creative way to present the ideal of Anarcho-capitalism being worked out in this way. I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly great!

I didnt expect such a great book. It teaches all the fundamentals of libertarianism and anarco-capitalism one by one in a completely different and easily digestable way. It is a story of you on deserted island.
I would have never thought there can be a book which can simultaneously teach libertarianism thoroughly and be friendly enough to be read to children before sleep. I was mistaken. This book did it!
Highly recommended to anyone (except communists, I guess:))

Intro to Libertarianism

Storytime to educate philosophy. Brilliant. Narration is entertaining. Disspells the negative charge around the word anarchy.

Beyond Basics But Not Too Deep

This would be great for high-school to young adults who are just beginning to 'get it.'

I loved how equivocation is kept to a minimum by not using too many terms for the same concepts. This drastically reduces confusion and adds clarity.

Very good job describing the NAP and Self Ownership, with the bonus of basic economics included in a story that gets the points across while keeping things interesting. Economics can be pretty dry. The author avoids that better that most I've read with and engaging (yet not distracting) story.

This is a praxeology book

To those looking at this work, know that it is not a treatise for Anarcho-captialism. This is a book that dissects the thinking of libertarianism and ponders on its most pure and basic principles. This book takes a narrative approach to explaining the concepts so as to break them down into digestible portions that anyone can grasp. I would recommend this book if you are interested in having talking points and more articulate ways to explain libertarian thinking to someone.

Recommend for any moderate to blooming libertarians

Good book, helped me cement my libertarian ideas into my brain didn’t talk about private charities though

Liberty and capital!

There aren't many books that intrigue me so thoroughly. The ending had me dancing with excitement.

It does a wonderful job explaining concepts woven into a delightful 2nd person narrative.

Surprised

I was surprised at how good this was, I shouldn't have judged a book by its cover. It was exactly what I was looking for on this subject.
