This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... I was a bit disappointed to find that my favorite poem by him wasn't in this selection but, I mean, it's still a wonderful collection of his work to listen to in bed to relax after a long day.

Too fast
Lovely speed reading of Neruda, which is not how I like to read his poetry. I turned the reading speed down to .7 and that seemed a more appropriate speed. Probably could go down to .6 or even .5 (half speed). The narrator had all the emotion of a textbook recitation, which again is not how I like to read Neruda, someone who read more slowly with a bit of sensuality would have been more enjoyable.

Did not like the translation or recitation much prefer the Il Postino soundtrack created for the movie
