Teenage burn survivor Wilder Tate begins high school ashamed of his disfigurement. Who doesn't love a great story about a small town basketball rivalry and a love story all wrapped in one? I experienced so many emotions throughout the book. As soon as I thought the story line was calming down, then BAM another curve ball in the story. This book is on my short list of books that I couldn't put down!
