Great Listen

This was my first step into the world of enneagrams, even though I've been hearing about it for quite some time. I found this book very straightforward and easy to understand, as every chapter explores one of the seven types. It is a great introductory work that I would recommend!

Elly Jay Tomlin has created a fantastic guide for tapping into the “field” for a huge amount of benefits, such as further connection, discovering intricacies of your traits, how to understand enneagrams to a high degree very quickly, understanding subconscious anxieties, and so much more by way of utilizing enneagrams. My favorite thing about this audiobook is the hugely positive words tailored to inspire the reader to “know thyself”. In my opinion, when one gets to know themselves and aligns with the non-physical element of who they are from source, they will experience massive spiritual growth.

The Enneagram Evolution is an in-depth look at personality types. There are 9 different types, and within each one, there is a breakdown of specific traits. I believe I am a "Gut" / perfectionist. This whole thing is fascinating. Since I have always been aware of sun signs, I did not have any idea that a more detailed breakdown was possible. While the main types of personality are Gut, Heart, and Head and offer differences and some overlap of elements, it is easy to diagnose your individual self-type due to the dominant traits. The narrator is the perfect voice for this audiobook. I really enjoyed listening to it.

A Wealth of Understanding

If you are new to the Enneagram, this book is for you. Elly Jay Tomlin gives a great overview of the Emmeagra and then goes through the 9 types, explaining relationship characteristics and strategies. What I found particularly helpful was practices for growing for each type. Here, recommendations are practical and doable. This is a very encouraging book.

I loved studying marks of my personality and identifying each facet! But even better was recognizing these identifiers in others and learning why some people are a perfect match for friendships and co workers. Very interesting and informative!

Very Interesting Read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The information and insight into the different personality traits was so enlightening. It was so interesting to discover not only my own, but to also see my husbands and other family members. This will help to understand why we act the way we do sometimes and to be able to interact with others with more understanding. Good Book!
