The Earl and the Chambermaid

The Earl of Kestworth, Lord Jeremy Johnson, refuses to marry the woman his mother, Charlotte, believes is perfect for him. As he’s inherited his title, the women of Kestworth believe he has the same roving eye as his father had.

But Lady Rose is willing to overlook that, even allowing him indiscretions if he desires, to secure her place as the handsome Lord’s wife. As Jeremy’s defenses start to crumble when Lady Rose is around, his heart takes a very dangerous and unexpected leap when he sets eyes on Abigail, a lowly chambermaid.

But Charlotte is aware of the growing attraction between the Lord and Abigail and takes drastic measures to ensure that Abigail never sees her son again.
