The war dog is just a very large puppy
Similar to book 4 the beginning is a background fill in story, this time with Josy's uncle. Then how fragile the alliance is, with the Sifters, Directorate and Morelli start fighting between themselves.

Epic series
This is the fifth book in the Spellcaster Academy series and boy oh boy things are really rolling now. Josy and her friends are back after winter break and things are moving at a much faster pace. More problems with the darkness are coming and Josy realizes that things need to change. I can not wait to see what is in store for the next book
