An incredible story about apartheid South Africa and about addiction recovery

Listening to Abner tell his story was really an amazing experience. His life’s intersection with the history of his county, and his ability to grapple with the generational trauma that led to his substance use disorder inspired me and made me think. Most of all I am grateful that he took the time to tell us all of this in such an open and unflinching way.
