Elizabeth Bell runs a quiet household, with no family and no more than the usual number of servants. She passes her time thinking about crime and working on her biography of a relative. this book has so many twists and turns I will listen to it again!

I was completely surprised when we found out who had done these things. All the way through I had considered which person it persons it might be but never considered that one!
