A Clever Mystery

I enjoyed this book as much as the others in the series. I was amused when Ian thought spending two weeks on a Scottish alpaca farm would be almost like an extra vacation. I was entertained by all the twists which kept Ian and his employee searching for the answers regarding who wanted the diva dead. I appreciated Ian's relationship with his dog, Lottie. I liked Charles Robert Fox's narration as his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Excellent Scottish mystery

A temperamental opera singer is under threat. As part of the investigation, Ian and Molly agree to spend 2 weeks at opera camp at an alpaca farm. I enjoy how the main and recurring characters continue to develop and their interpersonal relationships get more complex. The story is engaging and entertaining with twists and turns. The narration is excellent.

Excellent Scottish Cozy Mystery

An opera singer is in need of security services. Ian agrees to assist and investigate who has it in for the singer and why. The narrator does a great job bringing the Scottish countryside to life with a lovely Scottish accent. The overall story is entertaining, and Lottie meeting the alpacas was pure joy. There is a lot of heart to this cozy series. This can be enjoyed as a standalone.
